Public & Administrative law is the body of law that governs the activities of administrative agencies within government. This includes rulemaking, adjudication and the enforcement of a specific regulatory agenda. Primarily, issues in this area are concerned with the decisions made by public tribunals, boards or commissions.

It should also be noted that Judicial Reviews are covered under public law as it concerns the relationship between an individual and the government. This is the procedure by which challenges are made in regards to decisions of public authorities. This could include many different organisations, primarily governmentally based.

Other areas contained within this category include concerns regarding human rights, regulatory law such as health and safety and environmental commitments and anti-terrorism legislation.
